Tweets are saying Realmuto is a scratch... uh oh.

No Realmuto or Harper... Segura and Didi on DL.. This lineup will soon look like a late 90s phils team

Hopefully just a planned day off for JT. With all these players out Knapp is one of our better pinch hitters so maybe they just want freedom to use him earlier for a few days.

Or mad genius Rob Thompson is going to score 10 runs with this lineup.

He was in the original lineup and then pulled

I still prefer the mad genius scenario. Ugh if he is out more than a couple of days though.

As ominous as this seems, maybe this lineup will be the one to break us out of our hitting funk, and it will continue over the weekend as the regulars (hopefully) return. One can dream.

Pinch hit Marchan HR to win it after Anderson and Moore give us 9 innings of 1-run ball on a tandem start?

I guess the concern would be if JT also wound up on the COVID list. Hard to think that Didi would be the end of the chain.

And yeah, Marchan frees up Knapp but you're also not allowed to dip into your non-40 pool until you have a certain # of people out, and we literally have no remaining bats besides Moniak

Kingery is still around so we are not making Knapp the backup 2B quite yet.

Rob Thomson told Scott Franzke on pregame show that JT Realmuto was scratched w sore hand. Happened on wild pitch yesterday.

After tonight's outing.. if you forget about the start in Colorado. Chase Anderson has an ERA of 3.00 and a WHIP of 1.22.

The Phillies have already used 34 different players in the teams first 26 games.

I certainly didn't consider him a huge problem before that game, he's just gonna be short.

I agree.. but I think alot of people were thinking he and Moore were both horrid.. Anderson needs to go deeper but he hasnt been bad. And one game he got removed, not because he was pitching bad, but because they PH early to try to get offense.

The good news has to be even though Realmuto isn't in the starting lineup again tonight, they must feel he is capable of playing if needed.

This also seems like a loophole in the Covid "IL" to me. So Didi must have had symptoms of a cold, so they place him on the IL and are able to call up a back up catcher since their starter is hurting. Apparently Realmuto is now capable of playing so the back up to the back up isn't needed any longer so they are able to place a player who got "dinged" up last night on a covid list and call up another outfielder. How was Didi cleared so quickly a negative test or the symptoms disappeared? Did Quinn have symptoms?

If Quinn has COVID they just need to vent him now based on his health history.
