Honestly, I think he went to the Lakers because it is LA and he has aspirations for a media future after Basketball (whatever that might look like). I am purely guessing, but that is my take.
What is weird to me is the Lakers have a few players that he just forced Cleveland to trade because he didnt think he could win with them. Now they are back together, something tells me LeBron isnt done being pseudo-GM.
This is really the 2nd best thing that could have happened to the Sixers. The Eastern Conference is wide open now with Cleveland now dropping to the bottom. Boston, Toronto and Philly are the contenders, and we have the most upside (although some guys have some things to prove). I think Boston is still better, but it is close and we have a ton of cap space.
