Shame to lose him. He made plays when on the field, always stood out because announcers struggled to pronounce his name

I think they have two open slots. He likely didn't think he would get much active roster and playing time in Philly. I suspect Eagles would have signed him to PS if he were willing.

At this point, who would you restructure for?

They're clearing a lot of dead space this season and next season, one reason for the youth movement.
The other reason I think is Howie has learned that young players are more likely to step up, veterans to fall off the cliff.

What is notable about Cleveland and the Eagles is that they have ALREADY done most of the restructuring that is [possible. What the graph shows is that lots of other teams are leaving possible restructures on the table and operating near or over the cap, which will necessitate some releases.

What do Cleveland and Philly have in common? The Banner/Roseman philosophy.

That clearly is the plan. Howie is planning for a short window, last year and this year, then $ becomes a problem. Signing Saquon and trading for Dotson are key to Howie's thinking.

Actually, the opposite.
After next year, most of the pain from Kelce, Cox, Slay, Bradberry is off the books.
Lane is then the only big contract on an aging starter.

Barkley's deal is really only two years guaranteed. Howie always finds a way with this stuff regardless.

The eagles are also banking on the cap increasing significantly too, and if they win it all it’s worth it. They have less cap space in 2025 than this year - i do appreciate pushing the chips into the middle of the table to win it all, it’s much better than when the flyers are annually in cap trouble and pushing for a playoff spot

WR Griffin Hebert and TE Kevin Foelsch were signed to the practice squad, filling the last two spots. Got to think they preferred Jobe and Tuipulotu

I'm hoping if they need a TE, they pluck Baylor Cup.from the Chief's PS. I'm really surprised he isn't on someone's53. From what I remember seeing, that kid can play. great size as well.

Sad to see that Jalyn Hunt is one of the inactives tonight. This kid has crazy athleticism, seems like a guy you dream of for Special Teams at least.

He will get his chances this year.
