I think they need RB, TE, WR and DE depth. If we have injuries at any of those positions, we are in trouble.

I would add LB and S to that list, but have given up hope the Eagles will ever address those positions seriously after so many seasons of neglect. Same goes as above, however, with injuries - especially if we lose White or CJGJ, we are screwed.

I thought so (about Hall) before camp, but he hasn't flashed in camp yet according to the beat reporters. To be fair, Ojomo (who I thought might be really good) and Tuipolotu have had quiet camps, too.

Ojomo flashing today according to reports. Other things trending that give hints about the 53:
Wilson is getting reps like he's the 4th WR and has been the first guy up with Campbell on the sidelines. You have to think that AJ, Devonta, Covey and Wilson are likely locks at this point with all of the others battling for one spot. I know some are saying 6 WRs for the 53 but the Eagles history indicates they are not going to hang on to more mediocre players just because one hasn't separated.

Keegan getting first team reps the past couple of days. They are obviously not happy with any of the veteran depth they've brought in besides Becton.

Trotter making some noise. Dean better get it in gear or he could be gone. If there is a numbers crunch at a position they value more than off-ball LB (which is pretty much every other position) they won't hesitate to go with 4. They've done it before.

I'll wait until the exhibition games. The starters are in there for reps, but the 2nd team is in there to prove they deserve their spot on the depth chart. If you're not starting the 3rd exhibition games (when they sit the starters), don't sign a long-term lease.

I'm pretty sure they will find room for 5 LBs since LBs are often special teams stars.

Ojomo got a lot of positive comments from the beat writers today, as did Trotter. Eagles signed a linebacker who was awful in Jacksonville, Shaquille Quarterman, but they appear 5-deep at linebacker (unless Dean is in danger of being cut). VanSumeren and Trotter have reportedly been special teams studs, as has Baun, who Siriani gassed up unsolicited in his presser yesterday. Along with Jobe and Blankenship (and Brown when healthy) they should have the best coverage guys in the NFL. Hope it shows on punt and kickoff returns, although kick returning may be as much about scheme as anything. Wilson got almost all of the WR3 reps with the 1s yesterday with Campbell out. Covey mixed in ahead of Ross. In a real surprise, Calcaterra got some praise for his blocking.

I had Ojomo as a steal last year, and he's coming on, perfect 3-4 DE body with plus athleticism.
Probably not quick twitch enough for pass rushing DT or DE, but good fit for role.

AF, a lot of the draft gurus are with you on Ojomo. I was disappointed he was sort of invisible early in camp. Some people had him as high as round 3 in the draft.

I don't even follow camp until the pads come on.
And some players don't really shine until the exhibition games.
The rush to judgement is a bad mistake early in TC (or ST).

Haason Reddick has requested a trade from the Jets already. Jets unwilling to trade him, this could get interesting. Howie did the right thing trading him.
