No thanks, there are reasons the Eagles traded him one of which we are all seeing play out right now. The other is his liability against the run and edge discipline. Huff is also somewhat of a pass rush one trick pony, but he is 3 years younger than Reddick.

Too late in the season for most teams to have that much cap space.

VFK: another reason is he got cross-ways with coaching staff last season when wanted to have him drop back into coverage sometimes and he was totally unable to successfully do that. I guess he is just a great pass rusher with a lot of other holes in his game. Teams will want a guy like that but not at the price he is demanding. Maybe Huff is the same limited dimension player who can rush the passer, but cheaper and younger.

It was good to unload a disgruntled player as early as we did.

My point was it would be quite funny to sign him like that, wasn’t really thinking about whether he was a fit. I think he is still a good situational pass rusher, but yes, he is JUST a pass rusher.

The eagles received a third round pick that becomes a second round pick if reddick gets at least ten sacks and a certain percentage of snaps. It would be worth signing him just to have control of the conditions that improve the draft pick

It's preseason, so take this with a grain of salt, but McKee looks like the better QB 2 at this point, he played much better than Pickett in this game. I wonder if Howie can fleece the Vikings again and get a 1st for Pickett

I finally got to watch this weeks game.

On the third play it became clear that Bradbury is still a problem despite my hopes. TE goes out, Bradbury has him. Ball is floated because the pass rush gets near the QB, should have been an easy interception but Bradbury has his back turned because ONCE AGAIN he is 15 feet behind the TE chasing him. Is there anyone he can cover?

Time to move on. His fall was shockingly fast, but he is toast.

Apparently we need to work on Avonte Maddox field awareness. Great pick, good return, but he appeared to just drift out of bounds when he could have gone another 50 yards. Oh well, still a very good play.

He was gassed on that play--end of a long series, just coming off of two deep sprints, and then ran 45 yards the other way. I'd rather he just do what he did rather than injure himself trying to bring it back all the way. It's a dfferent story if it's not preseason.

Very true. Gave the offense a good set of reps. If you notice I wasn’t really criticizing, just really an observation.
