Yea, I can’t think of a worse job other than obviously the Jets (always a train wreck, now they get the joy of a HUGE Rodger’s Dead Cap hit) and the Raiders (all the stupidity of their legendary owner, none of the brains).

Other teams are bad, then good, then bad, but those two just stay in the basement because of insanely stupid moves.

Well, that's true, but it's a poll of 80 people, and "way too early." There's no real difference between 1 and 4 (other than in the playoff seeds, guess we can still hope the Eagles are 1 or 2 next year).

The real interesting one is Washington at 6.

The articles on the Wentz trade miss the most important fact, They got out of salary cap issues by trading the big contract he had been given.

But not exactly - Eagles actually ate more cap space in the deal ($33.8 million) than any team in NFL history. The fact that he flopped and the fact that the Eagles were able to flip the modest return into useful pieces is what makes it remarkable. Had he not flopped, it would have been a bad return and the Eagles would have been helping the Colts keep his salary down with money they couldn't spend on top of it. And had Hurts flopped, they would have needed that money. It all looks genius (and obvious) now.

I like Sweat but IMHO he's not truly needed for that amount of money and is getting older. I think I'd resign Baun and Williams, work the draft, and that might be all that they can afford.

Maybe miraculously get Garrett but not sure I'd give up what is reportedly being asked (multiple first round picks).

Shipley, Hunt and Skeen have all shown some promise.
