I would think he's only coming back on a deal that would work for the team. It's not like he wants to go play for someone else, and it also sounds like he's already gonna end up working for the team if he's not playing. Heck, let him do that and then just sign him in December if there's a need.

Baun -- will probably get more than $15M/yr, but to me he's still a high priority to sign
Becton -- will probably get offered ~$8M to play tackle somewhere, don't think Howie will sign him, Steen is ready to play.
Williams -- I think he gets $8-10M, I'd try to sign him.
Sweat -- will get paid, probably ~$15M per year or more. Can't afford him.
Gainwell -- probably wants a bigger role than he can get behind Barkley
Graham -- welcome him back on a team-friendly deal.
Burks -- about $3-5M, probably worth it, especially with Dean out.
Maddox--want a role with more PT I expect.
Slay -- I'd pay him for 1 more season, but that risks benching Ringo and maybe Rogers (if he's back). Eagles probably let him go, sadly.
Rogers -- pay him if it's reasonable (~$5M)

Chiefs 1st followed by Bills, Lions, then Eagles.

Does anyone really wonder why Philadelphia fans walk around with a huge chip on their shoulders? Name one other team that could basically win their conference championship game and the Super Bowl by 35 points and then get ranked 4th.

I know it's clickbait but it's just so laughable what we have available to consume in the mainstream sports media.

20ish hours on and I'm kinda thinking "What if".
If Gannon had done things the right way then in the aftermath of Super Bowl 57 The Eagles hire Vic Fangio a year early.
They went 10-1 before the defense collapsed. Who knows what happens if Fangio has his hands on the wheel.

I think this is based upon the inability of the Eagles to bring back all of our starters next season based upon our poor cap position coupled with not having good draft position or a lot of picks. It's going to be a tough off -season for Howie.

Other than the Bills being ahead of the Eagles and Lions that's as much a reflection of this past regular season as a prediction. There's no real telling what any of these teams will bring back this year. And playoff seedings/upsets don't really factor in at all. Had the Mets won the World Series this year I doubt they would have been ahead of the Phillies and Dodgers in a power ranking.
