Some observations:

The Eagles are, by far, the best team in the NFL. How did so many people not see this? I'm one of those people and I don't have an answer for it.

Nick did the team a disservice from a historical perspective when he took many of the starters out of the game. Decades from now, someone will look at the 40-22 score and think it was a relatively close game when it was not. The final 16 points scored by Chiefs were when the Eagles had pulled some players.

There definitely were, but the Eagles were in so much control that no one cared.

Becton: Steen is a replacement, but it would be nice
Sweat: Hard Call. Good player, but getting old.
Milton Williams: Is probably going to get a bigger contract than we should offer.
Fred Johnson: Someone will give him a chance to start
Gainwell: I guess someone will throw money at him
avonte Maddox: Played his way off the roster despite good play in Super Bowl

There may have been some questionable penalties but none of the scoring plays were controversial, were they? I just remember our last SB win was so much Al Michaels/Collinsworth going 'gee, I don't know' every other TD.

Decades from now, someone will look at the 40-22 score and think it was a relatively close game when it was not. The final 16 points scored by Chiefs were when the Eagles had pulled some players.

But all the experts will chime in and explain it wasn't that close. McNabb's SB was not as close as the score made it look and I don't think we remember it the same as the first Hurts one.

18 point win is still 3 scores, and it's not some fluke team the Eagles beat, so it will probably be remembered just fine.

I disagree. It is good to give more players a chance to play a little and know that they participated on a winning SB team. Also, it makes no sense to allow probably angry players with nothing to lose a chance for a cheap shot against our stars. We sat Saquon and much of starting OL in final game of season because avoiding injury, giving players a chance to recover are more important than setting records. Many of us would be upset if a key player sustained a serious injury and missed the first half of next season in order to run up the point differential.

Love what he's done for Eagles over his career, but given need to re-sign Sweat, Baun, Williams and cap problems, I really don't want Graham back next season. If the Eagles have sufficient $, I'd also rather brink back Mekhi Becton than Graham.

That isn’t what I thought he said. I think he said he was going to play 1 more season but he realized it would not be with Philly. I could be wrong.
