I am going to stick with the same thing I said before, I just donât understand the play call on Brownâs TD. Great result, but once again a low percentage throw on 4th and 3. I understand the risk / reward part and getting Brown on single coverage, but there is no way that is a 50% completion percentage on that throw, probably much less.
I know we have TE issues, but a quick 5 yd throw has to be better, with something like an 80% completion percentage on that type throw.
It worked, not complaining, but we seem to keep taking extreme risks when they seem like bad ideas. Nothing wrong with throwing deep to Brown, but on 4th and short it seems to be too risky (a concept apparently lost on Sirianni who doesnât understand too risky).
