Well they do have to throw the long ball so that the defenses defend the long ball which opens up everything else. This is not the first time they threw a deep pass at the end of the game with a lead of less than one score.

Weird stat at this point in the season:

The NFL leader in point differential is the Minnesota Vikings at +61.

Then the Detroit Lions at +60, the Bears at +47, and the Packers at +41.

Every team in the NFC North has a better point differential than every other team in the entire league.

That is a weird stat.

If Buffalo wins by 6 tonight they sneak into the list.

KC is 5-0 but only +33. They have barely won every game, somehow it feels more secure than the Eagles last year that did the same thing for 10 games. Might be the recent trophies the team has. Mahomes has actually been (hard to believe this) a below average QB. (19th in the league in QB Rating, Hurts is 17th).

Of course, first in the league in QB Rating is Joe Burrow, whose team has been one of the biggest disappointments of the year.

Sirianni has become a joke. Making him a 'CEO head coach" with uncertain authority and responsibilities was a ludicrous error. Fire him or keep him, but Eagles chose a confusing grey zone which hasn't helped the team at all. Who's in charge? Judging from the on-field performance, the correct answer may be nobody.

It's roughly a year since Hurts looked like a budding franchise QB.

Reddick ends his holdout with 65% of the season remaining, the eagles need him to play in 67.5% of the defensive snaps on the season - here’s hoping there are many many long sustained drives against the jets to come with disproportionally higher number of plays over the second half. Or that he gets traded to an nfc team this week.

It should be interesting to see how he plays. I'm assuming he's been working out all this time, but nothing still compares to an actual in-game "workout.". I'm thinking that he may have even lost a step.

Not if they have significantly more defensive snaps each game going forward. The teams won’t run the same number plays every game so long sustained drives against the jets are better for this long shot than quick scores or three and outs

They have had 393 defensive snaps so far this season, if they had 393 defensive snaps today then one game would account for half of the snaps this season.

I live in NH and Fox is showing Detroit/ Mn. up here. Not that I blame them- great game! However, I would love to listen to the Eagles radio network and get get in from outside the neighborhood. Does anyone have a tip on how to beat the system. I have tried as many tricks as I can conjure up but NO GO! Thanks in advance....

I think Covey has been Wally Pipp’d. there was talk about trading him before the season, I doubt they can get anything for him, but not sure he can hold on to the #3 WR spot, he just hasn’t shown much aid a WR.

Maybe he can transform in a ST specialist.
