If Press Taylor moves, it will probably be up to OC.

My recollection is the Eagles didn't much like DeFilippo, they could have kept him if they'd wanted to. Had no interest in bringing him back last year (even temporarily) either. And he might not have any interest in being an OC who doesn't call plays (not that he's a hot commodity).

The coverage last week all pretty much unanimously felt that Lurie forced Doug to fire those guys. Much like Kapler with Mallee except Doug has a lot more capital/track record.

It's going to be an interesting Super Bowl, the contrast between the 49ers and Chiefs, ground and pound with a stiff defense versus the most explosive offense the game has seen since the greatest show on turf. I'm rooting for the Chiefs, I'd like to see Andy Reid win a Super Bowl.

All three playoff games they came from double-digits behind to win. Tribute to the Chiefs, Reid, and especially Mahomes. Both Super Bowl teams were obviously faster at the skill positions than the Eagles. I expect they will have to find some 4.2/4.3 guys in the draft.

And Kelce. This would be a fair gripe for McNabb to have. However, McNabb had top 5/10 defenses to help him out and Mahomes took the Chefs to the brink of the SB last year with the 2nd worst defense in the league. They were better this year, but below average.

Seems fine to me tbh. No OC because Doug's always truly been that anyway, it's not an unusual set-up. Taylor replaces Groh as passing game coordinator without getting the bigger title, running game remains the same, new guys add more brainpower. Maybe one of them takes some of the QB responsibility?

Interesting response to a Q&A on the athletic. Only 2 teams in the top 10 of linebacker salaries made the playoffs, while 8 teams in the bottom 10 (including the Eagles) made the playoffs. Might be a position that should be devalued.

And Bradham played only average this year. Lynch was actually better, I think.

Kiper's latest mock has the Eagles taking Tee Higgins with Henry Ruggs III still on the board, I don't get that, Eagles need speed at WR, not another 6'4" possession receiver.
