It is funny looking at the reaction to this on the internet which, as we all know, often has less thoughtful comments. Ever single comment on the ESPN site is "our DBs were terrible so this guy must be awful". Not a single post on the obvious fact that having a ton of injured DBs makes the coach work with guys who shouldnt be in the NFL.
One fair criticism of this guy is probably that Rasul Douglas and Sdney Jones have not progressed. I actually blame injuries for Jones, we dont know if he is good or not, he has been intermittently hurt and I am not sure he wont still develop into something if he can stay on the field. Douglas really might be better suited as a Safety.
Undlin has made do with some very marginal players and has gotten guys prepared very fast. I am not sure we are not going to miss this guy.
