I totally agree. This is Pederson's MO this year. We turn ultra-conservative and try to just nurse a lead through the final half of the 4th quarter. Too many times it hasn't worked. We tend to do this on both sides of the ball. I also fault the special teams' coach for running balls out of the end zone. More often than not with the rules change, either you end up with the ball short of the 25-yard line or else something really bad, like a fumble happens. The last run out also cost a play before the 2 minute warning.
Good day for Foles, but he really took a beating today. Not at all sure how healthy he will be for the final game, between the totally obvious and rather vicious face-guard tackle and the helmet to the ribs.
Looking back on the season, a healthy Foles is superior to the Wentz who hobbled through much of the season with a back problem before he was knocked out by the shot to the back in his last game.
