This site was unreachable the past several days. Do we know why?

We've been pursuing the answer for a day or two. Might simply be electrical disturbance(s) in the host computer area.

Glad it is back. Was wondering if it was my setup. And we have a really old FCL team now. Much to talk about!

The Rapture.....will be interesting to see if we lose anyone.

Just kidding.

Facepalm reason: the server ran out of disk space. Compounded with the fact that I was camping in an area with little to no cell service.

Sorry for the outage, but it is nice to be reminded how much people care about this place!

I'm pretty sure if the Rapture is real I'd be far enough off in my theology that I wouldn't be invited.

Exactly what I figured - the server had an issue and you were on vacation and unable to fix it. It sure was a reminder of how much I rely on this forum.

Me too, even though I hardly ever post. Thanks for all you do to provide this space for us.

Man I was checking back multiple times a day to see when we’d be back. Few things I realized/thought when site was down.

  1. Realized how much I enjoy/rely on the automated Gameday threads. There are times I can’t watch and follow along and I really like going through the game day threads and catching up from the beginning. I go into them not knowing the score and it is much more refreshing looking at the play by play to get myself caught up as opposed to opening the MLB app and seeing the current score before catching myself up. I like the unknown and step by step rather than getting all the information at once.

  2. After the first two Dodgers losses, my superstitious nature wanted to blame it on the site being down. Couldn’t do that anymore after the win yesterday.

We should set up a place to meet when this happens to check in- a back alley, the dark web...or twitter. one of those nefarious outlets.

This is the only place i talk about the philllies and i'm very thankful to have it back! kudos to those who have made this great place for us to chat!

19 years!

Thanks for your efforts to keep this forum going!

I thought it was down due to a cyber attack by the NY Mets renegade fan forum.

I join those who floundered while watching the Dodger losses without this forum to vent and to read the comments from the other faithful Phillies phans.

I assumed there was a glitch somewhere and that our generous and rarely seen host was busy or out of touch. It is super great to have the board back up. Time to remember how generous Mr. Snyder has been in continuing this great site. I also pause to remember and honor MVPSoft, the originator of this great site. Thanks to the Snyder family.

Thanks as always Chris. Was just about to ask my wife to try and log on because I thought it was just my phone / computer.

Thank you Chris and others who helped get this site back up and running.

As mentioned by others it is amazing how much value I (we) put into this site and the opportunity to share something we have in common with others. I also found myself checking this site a few times a day hoping each would be back each time. Imagine my happiness when it loaded in this time!

Welcome back and thank you for fixing things!

Any chance the bot can backdate the last three games? I'm just half-serious, mind you!

I wonder if @kikutaro has a way to do that

Really? Heck, I just figured Mike Lindell's Cyber Symposium sucked the bandwidth out of the more pleasant, rational, confines of the internet (and that even includes losing streaks).

Thanks to the Synder family the continued upkeep. And of course to the members who make it a fun place to visit.
