Frost is a good example, he's had every opportunity to succeed, but has to run with it.

You don't have to hit on every draft pick and prospect, you have to hit big on enough of them.

Frost has not been given every opportunity. He might not have been given a good one.

Cutter was swapped for Drysdale, who I like, but he will probably never be healthy.

Who do you think the flyers have hit big in the draft in the last 5 years aside from Michkov?

Frost's path has certainly been rocky but that's also on him.

Despite skating in the top six and on the first power-play unit for most of his 16 games this season, Frost is still sitting on just one goal and five assists with a minus-10 rating. Just two of his points (one goal, one assist) have come at five-on-five.

The underlying metrics aren’t much kinder: Frost is 18th out of 20 Flyers with at least 100 minutes played in shot-attempt (Corsi) share (40.1 percent) and 16th in expected goals share (39.8 percent) at five-on-five, per Natural Stat Trick.

Frost was given top 6 minutes the last two seasons and started this year with Tippett and Michkov, then Tippett and TK - just look at Tippett and TK with Couts the last few games.

The myth that Torts "suppresses" Frosts' offense?
Richard comes up and Torts is explicit that he's here to provide offense.
TK and TIppett are risk takers who make a lot of mistakes, but do so at full speed.
He's even pushing Cates to be more aggressive on offense.

I think Frost just doesn't have the mentalite to be a play driver, he's too passive and goes MIA.
He should be pushing play with his speed and skill on a regular basis.

Frost has been given 15 minutes the past few seasons and a lot of those were not on the top line.

Frost might be taking the heat, but almost 1/4 of the way through the season and a lot of forwards need to pick it up.

Good job for the games they’ve played: TK, Michkov, Richard

Need more: Tippett, Laughton

Really need to pick it up: Farabee, Frost, Foerster, Couts

Probably performing to expectations for their spot in the lineup: Hathaway, Poehling, Brink.

Dead weight: Cates and Deslauriers

Absolute collapse in the third tonight. Fedotov performed pretty well in the first two periods and I think his save percentage is about .900 over the last 4 games. He might be a normal back up goalies in an abnormal package.
