Again, I think this move is part of a larger series of moves to clarify and upgrade the roster.
We'll see how Klentak handles the Hernandez/Franco/Kingery issue, how he continues to re-craft the bullpen, how he improves the starting rotation and clarifies the everyday lineup.
If he can move Franco and/or Hernandez for value, sign either Machado (my hope) or Harper and provide more consistent performance to the rotation and pen, that would be a spectacularly successful off-season in my view.
