I never played football competitively, but the difference with NCAA hockey is that the top prospects rarely go that route. So any NCAA team is vastly under skilled vs a pro team. That's simply not the case in football where they have to play in college. Plenty of teenagers come into the NHL and are productive or even very good. If they were required to be held back for 2-3 years, then they'd come into the league as top tier.
Sorry for the derail, but Bryce Young, Neal, and Jameson Williams would likely unseat all of the NYG starters last year. And the difference between Judge and Saban would be noticeable.
I mean, Landon Dickerson was incredible last year as a rookie and coming off an ACL. Your comment about not being able to block them makes no sense.
