I know fans are going to be upset that Mikal was the pick and they traded for a shorter guy that can't shoot much right now. I always felt there was a bit of redundancy between RoCo and Mikal. Zhaire is going to seem like a weird fit, but he really works in the modern "position-less" NBA. He's a 6'5" player who will be asked to guard just about anyone. I'm not thrilled that he can't shoot much right now, but he's going to be a tough matchups for other teams that have to guard Simmons, try to stop Fultz driving to the hoop, and have to guard the perimeter for shooters like Covington, Saric, Shamet, and Shake (and Redick, if he's brought back). Zhaire should have lots of space to cut to the hoop (which is something that I think the Sixers lack a bit and doesn't get talked about much.
