Nope. Collars is just giving away stuff for free (basically). The #38 pick was sold for 3.5M, Collars sold the #39 pick for 100K. Stash a darn Euro if you don't want to make the pick. Irritating.

Traded for # 1 pick (Markelle Fultz PG/SG), sent # 3 + a protected future first (Lakers 2018 or Kings/Sixers 2019)
Traded 2020 1st round pick (Thunder) + a 2020 2nd round pick for Anzejs Pasecniks C (stash)
Picked Jonah Bolden PF, who might be a steal and may play this year.
Traded the 39th pick (Jawun Evans) to the Clippers for cash*

Melo Trimble (yuk) and James Blackmon, Jr. signed as UDFAs. Rumor is Sixers are waiting until 7/1 to sell the Evans pick so they can recoup more $$$ since they're maxed under the rules right now and limited to 100K. Still don't like selling picks.

It seems strange that we would give up a future first rounder to draft a stash center and then sell half of our second rounders. Colangelo seems not to value future picks. We certainly could have pushed the #2s back a year or two instead of selling them.

Agree, We drafted a decent PG (Evans) and SG (Brown). Then we sold them and signed a worse PG (Trimble) and SG (Blackmon). We threw away assets to line the pockets of the billionaire owner. At least give the better guys a chance to surprise you and compete for a roster spot.

Dorsey was sitting right there and wasn't drafted by the Sixers. I believe he'll be as good as Monk. Not drafting a couple of prospect SG's in the 2nd round is going to come back and bite them in the bottom.

I understand not wanting to keep all 4 2nd round picks as the Sixers do have an issue with too many bodies, or at least will. But I totally agree with the sentiment that trading 2nd round picks for cash - if that is what is happening - is a complete waste of an asset and a terrible move.

That's perfect, he's a stash player, who has improved his game since playing in Spain. Let him keep playing there, and he might be a future trade chip.

Saw a few videos and he looks promising. Very athletic and can shoot for a 7+ footer.

Not sure I would have traded up to do this and probably would have used one of the 2nds on a similar pick with Isaiah Hartenstein instead of flipping them for cash.

BC was just on 97.5 and said that they plan on bringing Korkmaz this year, they want him in their system. He also confirmed Fultz will play summer league and Korkmaz, Bolden and Pasecniks might all play too if their contracts will allow them.

Agree - this draft, after 1.1, did not seem to be about building the best team for the next couple of years.
