Yeah but the NHL already made eight (!) in-season coaching changes. If there aren't any more in the NHL that will probably be because half the league already has a new coach compared to 2019 (since there were also seven in the off-season). Still can't rule it out.
Only three in the NBA, but I bet a few guys still get canned. Whether that includes the likes of Brown and D'Antoni - disappointing winners rather than outright bad coaches - we shall see.
Klentak and Brett Brown not dissimilar I suppose. People figured the Phillies had to make the playoffs this year for Klentak to stick around, and Brown needed to make the finals. Brown's seat was probably hotter.
There have actually been 20+ college hoops moves but none in the big conferences. I think that could still happen, right now ADs and schools do have bigger problems. Texas did cut loose its women's coach (whose deal was up in August), and spent a bunch of money replacing her with the Mississippi State coach.
