Phils Acquire Wilson Ramos from Rays for PTBNL

Catching is still pretty hard to come by in this league, to me Knapp probably has more value as part of a trade to a team that needs a second catcher than he would be as depth and a bat off the bench.

I want to like Knapp, but at this point he seems like a pretty weak option to be anyone's second catcher, not just the Phillies.

Well, you might right, Rupp was worthless. Teams would just rather have the light-hitting guy with better defense in that role, seems like all the guys the Phillies have brought to camp who Knapp beat out the last two years are still kicking around as well.
