Agree. There are some pretty strong quick guys. Pretty much every NFL team has 'em. And Trout is ripped, for example. Ricky Henderson was a super-strong guy and jet quick.

Lehigh will be the test for both Moniak and Stephen, though I'd feel better if the ML baseball was used throughout the minors - AAA is a bit distorted, especially later in the season, by pitchers struggling after they get promoted from AA and have to get used to the different baseball.

I think they have always been higher on Howard than some others. They rate his as a 55 prospect rather than 50 for Bohm. Stott is probably near the top of the players that just missed (who are likely 45 prospects). Stott is probably near the top of that because he has a pretty high floor with average tools across the board.

Re: Top 100 Prospects, the storyline I am most interested in the minors this year is how players like Stott, E Miller and Rojas develop. In optimistic scenario, they all continue to blossom and Phillies have 3 Top 100 prospects next year even after graduating Bohm and Howard. Alternatively, things could go a different direction and the 2021 Top 100 could include all of zero Phillies farmhands.
For a team that has bombed in the draft too often for many of the past 10 drafts, several years of mediocre Latin America/International results could not have come at a worse time. Buying major-league talent is still the most likely path forward in coming offseasons.

For me it’s that Rojas, Simmons and Baylor or OHoppe need to take steps forward with strong seasons. I feel great about Bohm, Howard and Stott. After that you have to do a whole lot of squinting

Morales, Luis Garcia, Jojo Romero are near the top of my list.

I hope the changes they've made to instruction help some of these high ceiling, low floor prospects.

Francisco Morales to me is a guy who could definitely make a leap.

we're currently in year 7 of our 3 year plan....

We kind of resemble the Padres, who went pretty much all-in in 2015 and got nothing from it. But they pivoted more quickly (i.e. tanked again) and are already done with their re-rebuild (or should be), with a much better farm.

We could have really used one blowout $100 million dollar year internationally. It was a huge missed opportunity.

Preller was an idiot back in 2015. Now, he looks smart again. I doubt Klentak gets a chance to redeem himself.
