Lartigue is a year and a half younger than Bossart so likely marginally the better prospect (not that either is that great).
This was about picking up a starter for nothing but a little cash. For a staff sometimes devoid of left-handed pitching we are at least collecting some volume (Smyly, Vargas, Morgan, Suarez, Irvin (who might be sent down now), Alvarez).
