Comedic Legend Sid Caesar Dies at 91
Jim Fregosi
Edit: They changed the headline, I swear! Look what it said before:
Ralph Waite - John Walton Sr from the Waltons and Jackson Gibbs from NCIS
I saw a couple tweets from sportswriters saying that Fregosi had passed and then later, the corrections that he was taken off life support but was still alive. Certainly sounds like the end is near.
Now it's true.
RIP Mr. Fregosi. You were part of the organization that gave us phans some of the most exciting Phillies baseball in my lifetime.
RIP -- I remember what a baseball town this was pre-strike (and we have rebounded at CBP). I'd have to retrosheet it and find my ticket stub, but I swear I was at a few Sunday games in the outfield 700 level with 50K at the Vet.
Thank you Jim Fregosi for that team!
Sad news. RIP, Mr. Fregosi.
