Yes, the 3 unearned runs pretty much won the game, but the Phillies still had (at least I still had) some hope of scoring some runs and winning the game. It has now moved into the really out of reach area with the six more runs this past inning.
I really don't know Puig's splits, or how drastic they are, but Irvin just seemed to me to be a curious choice to bring into the game there. Maybe Irvin instead of Morin would have been the choice to make, but really, the game was as good as gone after the 3 spot in the 5th.
The Phillies have about half the line up doing okay tonight, but it's mixed with the rest, like Hernandez, who are taking the big 0fer tonight. Good to see Kingery get some solid at bats and Hasely and Harper as well.
