Phils' pitching staff must think they know something about Covey that nobody else knows. Doesn't seem to be anything special about him. This is the candidate for 5th starter, the best they can find.

The Phils have plenty of hitting woes, but I love the way Marsh has gone to LF in clutch situations and completely fooled the D. I believe he learned that with the Phils. And Stott is hitting. He learned that working off season. SO the Phils have the coaches that can develop players into hitters, they just can't get the stars to hit... but maybe today!!!
