Tonight none of his pitches were moving. They were just hanging. That happens from time to time. Unfortunately it happened in the NLCS. I still think they use Kerkering.

Really a disappointing outing from Kerkering. Put pitches in the heart of the plate and the Diamondbacks didn't miss.

In what way? Put Kimbrel in like he did last round? I think they were saving him (and possibly Seranthony too) for tougher spots (more than later ones per se). Kerkering wouldn't be here (over Ortiz or even Covey) if he wasn't eventually going to get a spot like that. They were pretty judicious with him and unfortunately he wasn't ready this time.
