Yes, with the strength of the rest of the D-line this past season, Davis has to be regarded as something of a bust. Pickett is already gone. Green won't get those $, neither will Dotson. If they are good enough and want to stay, then they'll re-up for a lot less than that. Williams and Sweat were almost worth what they signed for. So was Becton.

I think that they pick up Jordan Davis's option. As for the others, most likely not.

The Packers have justified the ban in part on the basis of player safety. The league looked at safety last year and stated there have been zero injuries on this play. The ban doesn't seem to have much support outside of trying to make it harder for the Super Bowl reigning champs out of jealousy. Seems unlikely to pass on its merits.
