It’s too early to lock in compensatory picks, it’s nice to know the area that they could end up, but they could also be canceled out or more money could be thrown around that drops those guys in the chart.

It's really not. We already know what our departed players have been paid. I kind of doubt that Howie is going to sign for someone who wasn't cut or trade for someone.

Technically it is. There are a maximum of 32 picks awarded league wide so for instance, rogers contract, which that website is tracking as an extra pick has a high probability of dropping off the list. Additionally, the compensation is relative to where that contract lands, percentile wise league wide when they lock in the pics. The more money that gets thrown down the more these guys drop down the list and the compensation drops accordingly. The list that was provided is a if things were awarded today, and that list changes over the next two months until the draft.

The 3rd, 4th, and 6th round picks are based on projections from Over the Cap, which has a very good track record of getting them right. They are not based on current rankings.

I think we all have to enjoy this past season. it will be tough to get back, with all of the changes. success brings about some change. the Eagles will still be in the hunt. I just hope it is not another 8 years until another trophy. or another 2 until an appearance in the Super Bowl. I hope Howie finds another Reggie White for the D.

That's the site I look at too, and right now Rogers is 24th out of 26 on the list - meaning 25 & 26 on this list are not eligible to be awarded. This list has changed slightly in the past, and there only needs to be one contract larger than Rogers for the Eagles to lose that pick. I'm not saying it will 100% change, I'm saying its still possible to change.

Obviously Docs is right, but it's unlikely. And I don't think Howie will be the one to change anything.

I think what Roseman is doing is incredibly intelligent.

The guys he is letting walk have obvious replacements already on the team. He has to use the young draft picks he has used in the past, guys like Steen and Hunt can step up at a much lower cost.

CJGJ was good, but Sydney Brown has played well when given a chance, as PC has stated he has some coverage issues but hopefully they can be worked on. CJGJ has his own issues, there is a reason he is moved around the league this much.

Green is a great talent, but his pass blocking is awful. I bet we wouldn’t be doing this if Stoutland had not said “I can fix that”. His talent is immense. He comes in as a backup, really very little risk.

We still have the draft. It is clear (at least so far) that we are in desperate need at DE and DB depth.

In past years Roseman was able to make cap room by restructures, but he doesn’t have many options like that this year. I think he doesn’t want to do that with the WR’s.

Most of the great off season that happened last year happened in the next phase of Free Agency. There are still guys out there and we were obviously not going to be in the $20M/Season part of FA this year.

So much for my hopes we were looking at Bosa, he signed for 1 year, 12.6 with the Bills. Hopefully we will see him in the Super Bowl

Baun was a signing that was so minor it was barely even reported. I think we even wondered if he wasn’t just a “camp body” that hopefully would be a good ST player. Hopefully he would start, but not play all that much, we would use a DB in that spot more than not.

Gainwell to Pittsburg on a one year deal

Based on small sample size, Shipley can do most of what Gainwell does. His career long run is already longer than Gainwell's. Best of luck to Gainwell in Pittsburgh, and at this point we need one more decent RB in case someone gets hurt and misses a few games.

Eagles reached agreement today on a one-year deal with former Chiefs free-agent LB Joshua Uche

Uche has been an edge rusher in the NFL, had double-digit sacks in 2022. Has not been an off-ball backer. TBF, neither had Baun.
