Agreed. Not only benefitted from the dominant DL, but also the much improved secondary too. There has been a lot of debate on signing Williams or Baun. Obviously, the Eagles chose Baun because he plays a position they have failed to draft or develop talent at consistently, but also because he was cheaper. I like Baun and am glad we kept him.
Williams is a beast and he would have been my priority. He is exactly the type of ascending young player that is worth spending good money on and could help keep the DL dominant paired with Carter.
I think we've seen the best of Sweat so I'm ok letting him walk. He won in the end though as he stayed and won a SB while Reddick was shipped out and had a miserable season in NY. I can only imagine how Reddick feels.
