He can't until he has a full practice, which will be tomorrow. Earliest we will know is after his medicals following practice. But Eagles are acting like he's almost certain to play.

Well, I was suggesting the idea of Hurts not playing was a bigger concern than having to baby Hurts if he plays. Now things are looking positive. But also there's no reason to think Pickett is healthy enough to play (as 1 or 2), and even if he is he's had less practice time than McKee.

Hurts is practicing today, should be fully cleared before Friday if there are no setbacks. The Ian Book release is a strong sign the Eagles think he'll be fine.

Jordan Love said today, he is "hopeful" to play Sunday. He injured his throwing elbow in the game last week vs Chicago and was limited today in practice.

MLB did give us a Texas World Series during COVID. Most leagues would have done what the NFL did this week. Assume the league will cover the lost ticket revenue in some way. They have the money and profits to do that though I guess that gives them more freedom to move stuff around since ticket revenue is a smaller share for them.

Yeah, there was another time when they moved a post-season game too I believe, but I was referring to how badly they handled the Mets and Braves situations last year to try and preserve home game revenue. But yes, NFL has the luxury of being able to do it more easily, and they obviously can't delay a playoff game.

Book doesn't mean anything, he was waived from the roster and then re-signed to the practice squad. Insurance, given the injuries to both guys, but if he gets off the practice squad again that would be bad!

This is the one I was thinking of. Rays agreed to play a series against the Yankees in New York (albeit at Citi) Manfred was just too deferential this last time.
