I tore my ACL, MCL, PCL, meniscus, playing basketball, but I didn't dislocate my kneecap, and that was an arduous recovery and I never completely recovered.

The defense looked gassed in the fourth quarter. Makes me wonder how much the running game/ball control offense really helps the defense.

interesting reading this morning about Dickerson's comments on his yardage record. he thinks Barkley won't break it and says he (Dickerson) did it in 16 games. That is correct, but as of now Barkley has 315 carries and Dickerson had 379 when he set his record. I can't see Barkley having the same amount of carries that Dickerson had for his season. That would mean 64 more carries this regular season in 2 games. Would Siriani do that?

Saquon Barkley, the new Roger Maris.

It's going to be hard for him to break it if Hurts isn't back Sunday. And then if they win, hard to justify playing either Hurts or Barkley for more than a half against the Giants (Barkley even more so, Hurts I'm assuming only plays if he doesn't play this week, though certainly with a concussion why even do that).

Dickerson is a clown. Others broke 2,000 yards in fourteen games. If they had had two more games, he wouldn't be at the top. Records are made to be broken. When you set one, you're only renting it for a while. Enjoy it while you have it.

I actually didn't see anything wrong with Dickerson's comments. Maybe a tad passive-aggressive but he's not actively rooting against him (the way the ex-Dolphins always seem to be with undefeated teams). He even said he loves the idea of him doing it as a slap in the face to the Giants.

Scheffler is saying the Eagles have officially ruled Hurts out this weekend. I'd like to see McKee throw some on Sunday but I guess they are going to roll it back with Kenny.

Foles was the backup QB, McKee is the #3 who hasn't played at all in a real game. It would be good if he gets the chance, other than by injury to Pickett.

It would be insane to play Hurts in this game.

It never seemed very likely to me that he would play w/o some practice but now it's moot, he's still not out of the protocol. Has McKee actually taken snaps with the first team?

And Foles wasn't just the back-up QB, he had already started in and knew the offense in the past.

He must have gotten first team reps this week, since it was possible Pickett, as well as Hurts, would be unable to play. I think with all of the Cowboys injuries that there might well be some garbage time opportunities for McKee.

Barkley has 315 carries

I remember when Larry Johnson went over 400 carries in a season seeing some stats about running backs with that many touches breaking down immediately after that season. Here’s hoping he has two runs for 198 yards and then lots of Gainwell.

Yea, but you want to win this one so you can sit everyone next week. Also one less game that the starters play is 1-2 (or more) fewer injuries. We have no real chance at the #1 seed (need a tie in a game) so we will not have the long rest.
