Spotrac shows post June 1 numbers right now, which is $15.1M dead cap if we cut Bradberry this year; $13.9M if we trade him. As Docs said, his base salary is only $1.2M this year, $1.3M next year (non-guaranteed). Issue, of course, is the $19M signing and option bonuses guaranteed when he signed last year. The $9.6M option bonus was already paid during March, so it's a done deal. It's just the amortization from here.
My hope, if somehow the new "scheme" doesn't bring Bradberry back to life, is that he at least can give us solid slot coverage as a nickel. I have a hunch Maddox may go the route of Brandon Boykin, somebody I thought was an above average nickel but got hurt one year and was out of the league 12 months later.
