I am sure we are going to read (again) how Hurts has continued to play poorly, but my argument is that they aren't watching the games.
He had 2 picks. The first was a clear miscommunication between him and the receiver. Happens. He threw right where he wanted to, but the receiver continued inside. Luckily Hurts didn't mope and cutoff the return or it might have been a TD.
The 2nd pick was frankly a great play by the DB. It should not have been an interception but instead just a pass breakup.
Hurts stats are poor, but part of that has been that he hasn't had the TD's because he doesn't throw 1-3 yd TD's. He runs them in. They have also had so much success running the ball that he isn't getting the big yardage amounts, why throw the ball when you are getting 8 yd runs whenever you want them.
There is a difference between QB stats and game management. If the Eagles solely were concerned with Hurts' stats he would have great ones.
