ver surprised they won this game. never thought they would and it was going to be a blow out. tale of 2 halves and pretty lucky to win. but, take it and move on. as they said on the post game live show, there are a lot of people in SF, Detroit and Dallas that are disappointed in the outcome of this game. one down in the gauntlet, don't mess it up. they have to play better though.

They ran all over the Eagles in the first half and then stopped running the ball in the second half. Nice to be on the other end of a game where Andy Reid abandons the effective running game.

Analytics (regardless of model) were all over 90% in favor of "go for it" rather than punt when Andy punted from the 39 yard line last night. Andy is always being Andy...he has never been as aggressive as Siriani.

Hurts (with Siriani) is the first QB ever to win 5 straight games trailing by more than 10 points (he is now at 7 straight). Stat has been kept since 1991. Former record holders were Brees, Manning, Rivers, and Testaverde (tied at 4).

Hurts (with Siriani) is the first QB ever to win 13 consecutive games versus opponents with winning records. Broke the record held by Peyton Manning and Vinnie Testaverde (at 12).

Only the last one would have been a score. The Eagles made some good defensive plays (including stripping the ball from Kelce).

Maybe eclipsed in some statistical records, but I would think it would take maybe (at leat) one SB before we start comparing the two regimes in more than selected sstatistics. For my vote, probably need at least 4 rings.
