Waiving Harris was the right move, but a a shock. I agree with waiving Sinnett based on the logic that if you cannot foresee him becoming at least an above average back-up you need to move on, and he has not shown sufficient skill this pre-season. Clark had a shot to make the team and was on a few "final 53" rosters posted by writers.

I hope they are going to keep WR Covey, they need a kick returner badly. Mosher is reporting that Reagor may be traded before 4:00pm, it's going to be an interested couple hours.

"The trade market for Reagor is heating up" headlines don't really make sense because it's hardest to trade guys when teams are cutting players. Look at how cheaply we got CGJ...I'd keep Reagor and try to sneak Covey through to the PS since his preseason tape isn't all that good.

Sinnet I assume goes to the PS and maybe we move on from Strong (or the other way around). The guy that is still intriguing to me is Allen, he could be our returner of the future and I really suspect some bottom of the standings team is going to grab him.

Trading Reagor would help, but I still think he is a reclaimable player, the skills are there, he just seems like one of those guys that isn't a good part time player. We will get nothing for him in a trade.

I hope Minshew is off the table for now. Maybe if we pick up a veteran QB or one becomes available, but it seems likely that Hurts can stay healthy for 17 games given his propensity to run

I hope we don't regret dumping Harris. He hasn't been great, but he is serviceable and we are back to thin at Safety (Epps is still a bit of a project to me).

maybe I have been under a rock, but I didn't realize all of the hype the eagles are getting. predictions, betting lines etc.i and figuring they might be pretty good. but if this pans out, it means hurts turn out to be the one. and with the draft capital the eagles have for the next 2 years, they can set this team very well for the future.

Sills is a real surprise. I don't think he played with the 2's at all in camp and PS games, but I may have missed it. I would have thought Anderson or Awosika would have made it before he did.

Johnson, Johnson, and Jackson (the law firm) all made the cut. I'm surprised that Taylor survived...he wasn't that good. Reagor is here for another year, and likely the punt returner, too, unless Covey makes the PS and gets elevated.

Congrats to Blankenship, who showed out in games and has made the cut. Jobe, Blankenship, and Sills are all UDFAs who made it to the league. Congrats to them!!

I know it won't happen (can't really) but it would be fun to see the Eagles mess with the Cowboys. The Cowboys are playing roster games with their injured players, releasing / waiving guys they are going to keep. Currently they have 1 QB, no kicker or long snapper. Claim guys they want... would be fun but would be a bad idea

The Eagles did a good job this offseason. I like the Gardner-Johnson trade (hoping he can be re-signed). This season is likely down to Hurts, the CBs, and Gannon.

It sucks to release Deon Cain, but I know it's a numbers game.

EDIT: Maybe I should include all coaches instead of just Gannon. The talent is definitely on the roster and Howie did a good job in that regard.

They certainly are younger, I just read in Rueben Frank's roster breakdown that the Eagles only have 5 players that are over 30, the bulk of the roster is 26 or younger.

I can't help but wonder if Jeff Stoudland couldn't fix Alex Leatherwood. He would be a fool to come to a team with this deep of an OL unless he realizes that this is the way to jump start his career. Barring a ton of injuries he would probably never play meaningful down on this team.

Good question. Too short, weak arm: how do you coach those problems away? Do they see him as something other than a QB? I'm guessing he's headed to practice squad as soon as rules permit.
