I think this will end being pretty accurate, couple of disagreements

3 TE, I think they'll go with 2 and have one on the PS (plus they also have TJackson on PUP)

6 CB, this is tough since it is the top 3 with a lot of scrappy mediocrity. MacPhearson may get a slot due to draft status, but I think they keep 5 at most with another on the PS

3 QB, as you said, I think they go with 2 QB in Hurts & Minshew unless someone gets injured and they can trade Minshew for draft pick value. If so, Sinnett gets a second life.

I also think the 4th S might be Blankenship instead of Wallace. He has shown more in this camp than Wallace has in several years.

I'd use one of those open spots for DT Tuipolotu.

Even getting a dirty, punctured football for JJAW is a steal. I don't know who the guy we got is, but that has to be a win by definition

I think Amadi is direct competition for Josiah Scott, who is also a nickel that they have been trying out at safety. They still like tweeners.

IMO, the Eagles value DL (on defense) over everything else, which is fine, but having some talent outside Slay in the DB would be nice.

Can't believe no comments in 10 days... I guess we are tired of the pre-season.

Looking at the roster and talking to one friend of mine that is a Jags fan and one that is a Jets fan and I realize how nice it is to have a consistently competitive team. Since Reid came to town we have really only had 2-3 seasons where at this point we were saying "this team has no chance to even sniff the playoffs". We are actually going to end up cutting guys that we would rather keep, some of our UDFA's look like they can really play, and when you are looking at guys like Strong who really isnt even getting much of a chance or a look, we actually have a deep team.

My friends that are Jets and Jags fans are watching teams trying to put together a roster of 53 players that belong in the NFL. We might really have 60-65 of those guys that would not embarrass themselves on the field.

This is going to be a fun year if Hurts stays healthy. Is he a top-5 QB, no, but could he turn into Russell Wilson, absolutely. He has the agility, the head, the leadership, not a bad arm and now it appears he has the tools around him. I would like to see another RB and TE added, but honestly that is nit-picking, the offense looks as solid as it reasonably could be.

B, as I had mentioned before. I hope they don't lose Strong. maybe IR for his previous knee injury. I think he has the tools to be a starter in the NFL. probably not on the eagles, but maybe in a few years they can parlay him into a "Feeley" situation. also, as you have mentioned they are going to have to cut guys that will be playing in the league.

It's pretty clear that Deon Cain will not be able to sneak on to the PS. Reagor is in even more trouble, that is his spot that is going to HAVE to go to Cain

I almost wonder if they didn't really play him in the preseason or give him reps in camp in order to have no tape on him and make it easier to get him to the practice squad. Remember, nobody drafted him, so demand might not be so high.

Early releases for Tartt, Blackwell, Huntley, and Rodgers are probably the Eagles doing these guys a favor and giving them a chance to catch on to a 53-man roster elsewhere.

The Eagles acquire safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson from the Saints. I haven't read what they gave up yet.
