I'm still just completely indiferent as to whether they win 10 games or 5 (I suppose 7-9 would be the worst-case). But beating and/or finishing ahead of the Cowboys is always good. We'll see about that soon enough.

But no, i actually meant 7-9 WINS, not a 7-9 record. Which is to say I don't think a 9-8 record will be a playoff team (let alone 8-9 or 7-10), so better to just stink.

Confirmed. Brandon Graham out for the season with an achilles injury, Brandon Brooks with a pec injury, not out for the year but will miss several games on IR. Zach Ertz placed on the Covid list.

Eagles make some roster moves. Graham and Brooks to the IR. They singed G Jack Anderson from the Bills practice squad to the 53. They re-re-re-re-signed Richard Rodgers to the practice squad and released Cider from the practice squad

Good news, Indy and Miami both lose. Wentz plays the whole game.

Bad news: I have to think that Reich is thinking hat he needs to rest Wentz to get his ankles better. He clearly could not “defend” himself with his legs.

Worst news: at some point Indy is going to bench Wentz just to save their 1st round pick if they are way out of the playoffs.

Well, they might stick with Wentz for a while, they really don't have anyone behind him worth replacing him with. If they end up tanking we'd still get a high second round pick.

Yes, but there is a HUGE difference between a high 1st round and 2nd round pick.

To have 3 high first round picks could be franchise altering.

It's hard to miss entirely high in the first round. Most of those guys (who are not QBs) are at least starter-quality.
