Saints this week. Possible win.

After that 5 very winnable games. All are against terrible teams, worse than the Eagles. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win 4 of those.

Then the Cowboys and this isn’t hopeless because the Cowboys will certainly have the division wrapped up by then, and very well may have nothing to play for, so we may not even see the starters. Possible win.

We could easily win 5 of these games. 9-8 might be good enough. 10-7 is very likely to sneak into the playoffs.

It's not clear that either the Giants or the WFT are worse than the Eagles. Giants always seem to give the Eagles trouble these days, even when they're not good. I think 3-2 would be optimistic for those 5 games...

Goedert hit--helmet to helmet, not fined...

Yes, I remember a discussion after game 1 or 2 where the Eagles were penalized for a helmet-helmet and I argued that since the offensive player was not standing up but in fact on his way down that the defender could not have avoided it. That is more or less what happened to Goeddert, he was hit about 4 feet off the ground, but that is where his head was. No idea why if the Eagles hit was a penalty this wasn’t other than as usual the referee’s over-enforce things that the league tell them to at the start of the season and then return to their “norm” by mid-season.

The Eagles are now over 200 rushing yards. The Saints have given up 200+ rushing yards to opponents twice in the last five years. Both came against the Eagles:
