At some point some team is going to figure out that Boston Scott is a very solid RB. I hope it is the Eagles. He barely played the first 5 weeks.

Chargers are 30th in the NFL against the run.

We start the game by throwing on 6 of the first7 plays.

Almost every run is a minimum of 6 yards, will the coaching staff figure this out? TBD?

Hurts with a really good game that the QBR star won’t give the correct respect for. He makes so many important plays with his legs that he is never going to look great in QB rankings / ratings.

The mark on the play before the 4th down was terrible. They have the Chargers a full yard that they didn’t get, it should have been with the back of the ball in the 40, instead they gave them on the 39. The next play (4th down) would have been short if the team the same play.

The multiple OL reads to let Bosa go unblocked to Hurts was an interesting strategy.

Hurts made a lot of plays with his legs and his throw to Smith is why I don't think he's the problem. The timing on offense and the general scheme on defense leave a lot to be desired.

Yeah, that was just insane. Doesn't matter what play you want to run, having a guy like Bosa running free in your backfield will blow up any call, unless the offensive players are a lot more talented than ours, and probably even then. He is the guy they always had to focus on and double team, at least with a chip block for the double-teamer. For him to run free more than once is rather damning, especially since the Eagles haven't been good at screens and trick plays this season.

exactly BK. That player was tackled at the line (40 yard line). i guess there was nothing they could do about that, but a real gift. who knows if they would have stopped them with a different play with longer yardage to go. i think they are getting better offensively. as i have said before, when hurts doesn't panic and stands in the pocket, he looks pretty good. That terrible miss to Goeddert really hurt in the first quarter. Hurts had happy feet and wasn't set when he threw. it was a floater and a very poor throw. i didn't think they would win, but that play turned out to be a killer. with the way the D was playing they needed all of the points they could get.

Of course they could have done something about the spot. That is a challengeable play. Despite all the arguing with the refs throughout the game, nothing was challenged. Admittedly much of what Sirianni objected to were calls and non-calls which weren't reviewable.

It would have cost them a timeout and a challenge no matter what if they had challenged. You only win the challenge if they change the ruling to it being a first down or not, just respotting the ball is not a "win".

Actually, I think I am wrong, I believe it was inside 2 minutes, so it would have had to have been the replay official.

Impossible road win at Denver, Hurts played like an MVP candidate in the first half, mostly handed off in the second. Quez dropped a beautiful 40-yard Hurts pass in the end zone.

As i said before, they are getting better. Siriano realized he should use that BIG offensive line. They are coming together. i get the college and pro rules confused sometimes but was that hit on Goeddert legal?

That's going to really help the team. also, does anyone know why Joe Kerrigan:wink: is on this team? he seems like a nice kid and has had a great career. but i don't see any production at all. i'd like to see what the Florida State kid can do that is on the practice squad. Joe was a pretty good pitching coach, but no pass rusher.
