The weirdest part of this season is the Eagles could be 6-1 with a little better luck (only really the Rams was a clear loss). Of course, they could also be 0-7 as they havent clearly beaten anyone.
I hate to see us be more than superficial buyers. Maybe spend a 6th or 7th round pick to acquire an OL, but not much more than that as PC pointed out, even if we win the division, there is almost no chance of doing anything in the playoffs.
We need youth and we need good young players. Continuing to dumpster dive will occasionally yield us a Fulgham, Scott or Ward, who are all nice bottom of the roster players, but we need guys that will be strong players for years. Our entire team of quality players is getting very old, and that is part of the reason why we have so many injuries.
There is a rebuild needed here, I would love to see them try and trade some of the older veterans this offseason, obviously Ertz, Lane Johnson, Cox, Graham maybe even McLeod could bring back the youth we need, but it is going to be hard to trade these guys. They all have contracts that are hard to move (except McLeod), they may only bring back modest returns because of that, but something has to be done to make this team younger or we are just going to continue to repeat this season.
When I list players that I would like to see moved I didnt include obvious ones like DJax, Jeffries, Curry, etc. that simply need to be released. They have no value in a trade, in fact they probably have negative value at this point.
2021 -3 may be fairly ugly. I dont anticipate that we can build up a team very fast since the last few drafts have not yielded very much.
