They lost what chance they had when Cox went down.
I'm the minority, but I keep Wentz and Pederson, and Scwartz, and certanly Duce and Stoutland. The guy who really needs to vanish is Roseman, but that obviously isn't going to happen. It was a very depleted roster all season.
We had a mild debate last week whether or not Seumalo is an emerging star. I counted to critical false starts. Like Peters, he seems to try to jump the count a little, because he just isn't quick enough.
The eagles would have been better off this year if they never tried to return a kcikoff. They never reached the 25 and sometimes fell well short of it, as has been the case all season.
Hurts proved to be a mortal as a passer, but was called upon to throw too often after the first two series.
An unusual game in which Pederson's scripted plays went well and then the rest of the calls faltered. The Cowboy's adjustments just shut the Eagles down on both O and D. After the first two series for both teams, the Eagles were inept, although that largely on the DBacks, although without Cox the rush was largely absent.
This team needs a lot of new starters. Just as well we lost, but the total collapse was dispiriting. Hurts ended making the same forced, bad throws as Wentz.
It's hard to place blame. Just not enough healthy talent on the roster.
