i had them with a slow start and a 2-2 start. i didn't expect a lost the lions. now they're looking downtime barrel of 1-3. i was at my grandson's Might football game this afternoon. was Hall activated for defense?

I disagree. After GB they are home against the Jets, so that should be a win. But, then they're on the road for three games straight - Minnesota, Dallas, and Buffalo. Buffalo is 3-0 and playing well. If the Eagles lose to GB, I could see a realistic scenario where they're looking at 2-5.

Green Bay is going to be hard to beat at home. The defense is a problem, in that they are below average right now, which most times if the offense was hitting on all cylinders, they would be able to overcome, but not when they are shooting themselves in the foot. The good news is that for the most part, it is not Wentz that is making the big mistakes, he is hitting guys right in the hands that are just dropping passes. Howie needs to make a move, go get Ramsey, if they can't pressure the QB, they need to cover better.

I knew the start of this season would be tough, but just like the Phillies Bullpen we have had horrible luck with injuries. It isnt so much that we had many of them (although I am sure we are near the top of the league), but they hit specific positions. 2 DTs and our best 2 WR and another receiving option in Goeddert. Add that to the fact that we are mysteriously using Miles Sanders (who can't break a tackle to save his life) over Jordan Howard, completely mystifying why.

The defense has been atrocious, I am guessing that Fletcher Cox is either still hurt or is now having his preseason, but he has been a non-factor getting no push, real not himself. The DL isnt even generating a little pressure, so the defense is getting exposed.

That said, if we had a little bit of non-horrible luck we beat Detroit, but we did everything we could to lose that game and managed to pull it off in the end. Jenkins block should have saved us, but we couldnt take advantage.

Please, please, please bench Sanders, he isnt ready yet. He is proving that play after play. Jordan Howard, while not perfect, is a top 10 RB in the league if used correctly, no he can't catch, but he is a good blocker and can get you yards with the ball on the ground.

Please send Mack Hollins deep sometimes if DeSean is hurt. He can stretch the field, not as well, but a little at least. Hollins is a deep threat, and Detroit was sitting on our receivers because they knew no one could beat them deep (although actually a few guys did).

We really need DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffries to compete. Agholor is doing his best, but he isnt a #1 guy, he just isnt. He makes mistakes, sometimes horrible ones and he has concentration issues. He is a very solid #3 receiver, honestly one of the better ones in the league, but that is all he is.

I feel for Ertz, he is trying to carry the team but no one is open when they are double covered, well, almost no one. He isnt the kind of guy that is going to get 10 catches when they are loading up on him, he is a mismatch for any one player, but 2 can shut him down.

Sanders was good on the two wheel routes he ran, if Wentz had put a little more air on the throw, one of them would have been a touchdown. Howard needs more carries, I don't care if the reports that they "don't like his vision" have any merit, he gains yard, punishes tacklers, much like Blount did in 2017. Since they are dinged up at receiver, they could run more pass plays for Sanders and more runs for Howard. They won't do it, nobody does anymore, but a two back set would actually work for them while they are short on receivers.

Darby is going to miss a few games with a hamstring issue, leaving only three healthy CB on the roster. Now more than ever, Howie has to go get Ramsey.

Seemingly everybody is counting on an Eagles loss tonight, I'm hoping for the back against the wall performance this team has given us the last couple of years.

Oddly enough, Miles Sanders has still not broken a single tackle, but great return. I hope we can continue to use him like this and as a change of pace back. He is NOT ready as a RB yet, he has shown nothing, but it is partially because he has been put in positions where he just either isn’t ready for or does excel at. Odd because that is what Pederson does best, he puts his players in a position to succeed based on what they do well.

Barnett with yet another silly penalty, but to give him credit, he made a hit on a WR 40 yards downfield after Avonte Maddox got burnt yet again by Rodgers.

Barnett gets a lot of silly offsides and personal fouls, but the dude hustles like few I have ever seen. He also had a really nice fumble recovery in one February Game and appeared to start to run the wrong way

Goeddert with a TD on Ertz’s play. How many times will we run a play with a TE in the slot, have him start to run a corner route and cut into the middle of the field. Ertz literally caught 100 of them last year, Goeddert stole his play

Rodgers was killing us outside of the pocket. When only rushing 4 you can afford to use a spy. Not going to change are ability to or not to cover much.

To me, it looked like Sendejo's hit on Maddox was pretty severe...4-8 weeks severe In my humble opinion. Bad concussion.

Sanders said that Maddox had feeling in his extremities, and that they were just being cautious. I hope he's ok.

Eagles need a CB now. Maddox out. Darby out. Jones out.

Good, much needed win, last night. Great goal line stand, although helped in large part by GB's not running the ball when they had 1st and goal at the 1 yard line. Really bad play calling.

Sanders and Howard played off of each other nightly, and have Jeffrey back really makes a huge difference.
