Where'd the defense from the last two weeks go though?

Truly impressive. And hilarious, tbh, because the divison race still hasn't really changed.

Anyone who thinks this team is beating the Giants twice and the Redskins so that they can just compete for the division is delusional. This season is over--team has to start thinking about which players to cut or trade. On offense, Peters should be gone and all the wideouts. Need a new, very creative OC. On defense, pretty much all the DBs need to go. Linebackers are doing nothing to help, either, but at least all but Bradham are cheap.

Well, yes. But the Cowboys aren't doing any better. More likely than not, they beat us, or we blow another one, but they could still lose their next games as well. Wasn't kidding when I said division winner might be 8-8.

I'd just as soon go 6-10 (or hey, 5-11 still in reach!) at this point. Let the Cowboys have it, maybe they will even keep Garrett.

That game had the feeling of season over. That was a really bad game.

Weirdly, I was pretty sure they were going to lose when they were up 10-0 and 28-14. Had a bad feeling all week.

Zamby, how about that? had that feeling in the back of my head, but really didn't think they would lose. things were lining up and they came true. Now we can think about the drafting. how high of a pick can they get and who might be available at that spot. might be one of the most embarassing losses in a number of years. 31st in the league in run defense and throw the ball 48 times. makes sense to me. a direct order from howie to doug to show/prove that wentz was worth all he gave up. terrible.

I'm with everyone here. This was as ugly a loss as we've seen all season. Everyone - Roseman, Doug, Schwartz, Groh ,the Players - all receive a portion of the blame for this season in general and this game in particular. Fluke or not, the Super Bowl luster is, IMHO, gone.

I think that Roseman needs to go - his draft pick history has been close to awful, and I don't trust him to draft well.

Groh needs to go. I think new ideas on offense are sorely needed next year. Let's look at Wentz, the WR/TE/RB corp with fresh eyes.

I have mixed feelings about Schwartz. But, I have no qualms about letting him go - Rex Ryan is available. Wonder if he's take a DC job?

I have mixed feelings about Doug. I think he stays if Howie stays and he goes if we bring in a new GM - which I can say with 98% certainty will not happen.

You are all crazy. Was a bad loss and a disappointing season so far, but dumping absolutely everyone makes no sense. The QB, most of the line other than Peters and Kelce if he retires are a solid offensive foundation, as are Ertz, Goddert, Howard, Sanders and Ajai/Clement. alshon will return for one more year given he costs a ton on or off the roster.

On offense, they really need 2 WR (field stretching please, both vertically and horizontally) - a slot guy and a field stretcher. They will also need a G/C in the event that Kelce retires.

Defensively, it’s rougher, but Cox, Graham, Barnett, Jenkins and Maddox are fine, but we need 1-2 CBs, 1 FS, 2-3 DTs, 1-2 LBs

Fortunately we have picks in rounds 1 and 2, two 3s, 2 4s, 3 5s and a 6th round pick.

Jenkins has NOT been fine this season. Isn't making any impact plays, and has lost a step in coverage. I like Maddox and maybe one of the other CBs in a reduced role (or Douglas at safety), but that DB position is a disaster, or the scheme just stinks. Guys are open like they are in college downfield.

They need to add a legit pass rusher to the front four. For whatever reason, the pass rush hasn't been there this year.

It was like we were playing a prevent defense the whole second half.

Miami made adjustments after first half. We did not. The wind bowl made our defense look better than it was. The more the opposition passes, the worse our D does.

As far as I'm concerned, the only good time for the prevent defense is with less than maybe 10-20 seconds and with the opponent needing to go 40+ yards for a TD to either tie or take the lead. I remember a game in the 1990 season when Buddy Ryan had the Eagles play the prevent up by six against a lowly Colts team with more than a minute left. The Colts short-passed their way down the field enroute to a game-winning touchdown as time expired.

In a way Roseman is like RAJ -- too much sentiment for the guys from the championship team. Howie has fielded the second oldest team in the NFL. A guy like Sproles should not have been on this year's roster. Part of the age thing is that Howie has drafted poorly, but part is just sentiment.

Meanwhile as bad a season as Wentz is having (it's really not a bad season, just an average one), Foles is having an awful season in Jacksonville and even though he is back from injury, he won't start over Minshew.

The defensive line was putting no pressure on Fitzpatrick in the second half. I feel like they really miss Chris Long. Fitzpatrick was in a rhythm and Schwartz made no adjustment. It was just stupid ridiculous.

I have another complaint, NFL specific not Eagles.

I love the fact that, as I live out of Philadelphia, I can spend $19.99/year and be able to listen to my team's radio feed via the MLB-At-Bat app. I fail to see why the NFL can't offer the same thing. I had no way to watch the game this past Sunday up here in NY. I'd have loved to be able to listen to the game.

I don't think so. 94.1, the radio home of the Eagles, has a radio.com feed, but they don't carry the Eagles games. At least I don't think so.
