Eagles looked really good against a really bad Giants team. One note - instead of a RB, I'm thinking that some OL help may be a better way to go.

Wasn't Pryor inactive last week too -- seems to me he has an injury that is keeping him out. Imagine Mailata might be reflective of Peters' situation being iffy.

Pryor was listed as a healthy scratch, I think. Mailata seems to have passed him. Strange considering how extremely raw Mailata was viewed to be in training camp.

Including too many of the behind-the-line screen passes which the league has figured out. This one was largely on the coaching staff. The offensive line did well, Ertz was outstanding, Wentz was outstanding, Jefferies was very good and the defense was doing very well until they went into their particular version of a prevent D, giving up 3 relatively quick TDs. The approach, with a big lead in the 4th, is what killed them. That, and it looked like the DTs wore down.

This definitely was a conservative play not to lose fourth quarter. It just completely destroyed the timing and flow of the game. Agree this was on the coaching staff.

Was at the game and had to leave when it was 17-0. listening to the radio, after we got to the car, we couldn't believe what was happening. no way to sugar coat it, the team just isn't as good as last year. i wouldn't trade for any players, they have a nice amount of picks (alot early) and they need to get some high class players. '19 might be their year. not too sure about this so called "Franchise QB" lot of people brag about.; Anyone can Dink and dunk down the field. disappointing.

Yes, I wouldn't trade for anyone either, unless it was really bargain basement prices. The prices bandied about for career-almost-over RBs and expensive contracts is astonishing. A second-round plus for Shady. That would be incredibly foolish. Darby plus a pick for Shady? Ditto!

Ditto. The Cowboys just traded a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper. They missed out on Carlos Hyde though, he was not expensive and would have been a good fit here.

Football at 9:30am is just too weird. At least the Eagles won. Now into the bye week and the Eagles next game is a Sunday night game versus the Cowboys two weeks from now.

Fun fact - since the end of the Eagles game, the Redskins will have played three games before the Eagles take the field again.

I was at the game today. My first Eagles/NFL game. It was a great experience and I was delighted to see Ertz and his young clone score touchdowns. I haven't been to any of the London games before but I got the impression that the Eagles fans turned out in force. All weekend London was swarming with Philadelphians and I barely saw any Jaguars fans. I think before I arrived at the train station near the stadium I had seen only two Jaguars jerseys all weekend.
