Which is why we need to go the FA position player route in a big way this winter. No point waiting until 2020, because we don't have significant position help from the farm on the horizon prior to perhaps 2021. The ability to draft/sign/develop difference-making position players has been an organizational flaw for a long while. We've basically got Burrell, Utley, Ruiz, Hoskins, and going a little farther back, Rollins. Development includes successfully getting their MLB feet under them when they come to Philly with justifiably high expectations.
