If he gets claimed then that team was very smart for not giving anything up for him and if he doesn't then he truly had no trade value. It's also possible that both the Phillies and a lot of other teams don't think he can actually recover from the layoff, even after getting through his 90 days. It's not even certain he'll stay on the Boston 40 in the off-season if they take him back
