Rolen throughout the years with the Phillies. He actually wore #6 in 1996. I saw him often in Reading as I lived in Philly area at the time. I will always remember how hard he played
Hall of famer!
Rolen is not a clear cut HOFer like Chipper Jones. He arrived at the right time to get in. He was in my mind a player on the edge. He might make it, he might not. But he has made it and I will celebrate him as such.
Sweet!
I loved Don Money. I was disappointed when the Phillies traded for him (giving up Jim Bunning) but then was disappointed when he was traded away (for Jim Lonborg).
Cookie Rojas. One of my favorites when I was a kid.
Tommy Hutton
My sisters were all infatuated with Tommy Hutton.
Decided to go with various baseball cards today.
Can you identify the players in the Freddy Galvis card?
I see Cole Hamels, Cliff Lee, Dom Brown, and Erik Kratz. Not sure on the others.
My phavorite Phillies #12 moment, the knockout punch of the 2008 NLCS.
And Stairs drives one into the night!
You got the ones I got!!
Two different catchers McCarver and Dalrymple
The player sliding into home vs. Dalrymple is doing it extremely awkwardly. It took me a couple of minutes to even figure out which direction he was going (where home plate is).
