Todays autograph memory - who has signed this Reading Phils hat that I wear to every Phillies game I see (majors and minors)? Two are no longer with the club.

Hints - one is a favorite pitcher of mine that signed the hat when I saw the Phils in Baltimore in 2018. The other three were high Phils prospects last year. One is not with the club any more.

Since no other guess or no one cares, here are the signatures that are on my ~25 yr old Reading Phillies hat. Zach Eflin (Phils game in Baltimore) - I will miss you. He also spent 5 minutes or so talking to me after a Team USA game in Cary, NC soon after he was traded to the Phillies. I have pulled for him after that.

Others got last year. Logan O’Hoppe - Reading road game in Somerset when I was up north visiting family. He was hesitant to sign as he did not want to ruin the worth of my hat with Eflin on it - lol. Not my concern. Seemed down to earth. I had a feeling he might be traded, but did not discuss with him. I wish him well.

Last two are Andrew Painter and Mick Abel - JS road game in Greensboro. They both went to Reading after this series. Each spent time outside the stadium to talk and take pictures with Phillies fans and others. Each very nice and probably happy they were going up.
It is fun seeing future Phils in the minors - helps develop my future favorites.

BC, I can see the Zach Efflin one. My Grandson got his autograph at his first Phils game 5/18/19. He was standing along the right field could line with a ton of kids around and Zach came up to him and signed his Phils hat. WE have the hat here at our house and he wears it when he comes over. Those pre game signings just have a mass of kids. it's fun to see.

once you gave the hint I got O'Hoppe. So Painter's is the one that is basically is initials. Abel's is hard to read!

I have one more mainly because we got a Ron Blazier signed ball in a $5 grab bag at the Phillies ALS fest in 1996 or 1997. I decided to look up photos and only found this signed card with his number visible. There were other photos from his obituary and I did not know he died in 2021. Others here may have known, but I thought I would mention. RIP Ron - short MLB career, but you made it.

Autographs often don’t appear great on hats, but I don’t care if they are Phils. We had some Clearwater team sets that look better, but Painter is still mostly an AP. Hat is probably retired unless some other Phils stud comes along
