Yes. I'm sorry David went through that and I know someone else who went through something similiar (had COVID, got vaxxed, had a stroke, couldn't get second shot, has since had COVID again). But for every 1 story like that there are thousands, even tens of thousands of people suffering worse (death, strokes, long COVID, increased likelihood of blood clots and strokes for the rest of their life) by not being vaccinated. And those numbers continue to grow as the failure to get people vaccinated (and boosted!) keeps us from ever reaching the endemic stage.
I do, however, think it's pointless for Canada to have this rule without changing the definition of fully vaccinated to include a booster.
On the baseball side of things, yeah, these are just two games, and no, we're not going to play Toronto in the World Series. But it is still entirely possible that our catcher, our best pitcher and (speculatively, IMO) our MVP (later in the season) could miss two weeks of games at any point, and while our vaccinated players can get it too (and have) they also have a higher risk of catching it from being around unvaccinated people all the time.
Sports is supposed to be all about putting the team above yourself.
